Pear Blossom Festival Culinary Events
The Rogue Valley’s 66th Annual Pear Blossom Festival is coming up April 12th and 13th, 2019. The festival includes a pageant, parade, run, street fair and food events, including the Pear a Fare, a local artisan food & beverage tent, and the Smudge Pot Stroll, a downtown restaurant event.

Dining Out In The NorthWest is proud to sponsor the Smudge Pot Stroll! This is opening night of the Pear Blossom Festival. 350 tickets will be sold for a walking and tasting tour in downtown Medford. With each ticket, you get a wine glass and a pass to sample a taste of specially prepared pear and local food themed items at 13 downtown restaurants. Pear A Fare Festival Canopy

The Pear A Fare Festival Canopy celebrates the unique flavors of the Rogue Valley, recognizing the outstanding chefs and artisan foods of the region. Vineyards, breweries, distillers, local artisan food makers are all under the festival canopy serving tastes, and selling products. Tasting glasses and tickets to sample the flavors will be for sale at the Pear A Fare entrance. The Pear Blossom Parade has grown from 20 wagons and youngsters in the first event to today’s 150 entries with 4000 participants and 25-30,000 enthusiasts lining the parade route. The Pear Blossom is a pillar in the Rogue Valley community emphasizing family values, commitment and pride. Scholarships for area high school senior girls have been a hallmark of the Festival Association since 1991.
