Barlow Trail Roadhouse – Dating back to 1926, the Barlow Trail Roadhouse is an authentic log cabin. This one is a great stop in Welches, which is on the way to or from the mountain. Barlow Trail is a favorite for tourists and locals alike.
Cooper Spur Mountain Resort - Take a step back in time with Mt. Hood adventurers from long ago at Cooper Spur’s Crooked Tree Tavern and Grill. Their chef is dedicated to providing fresh, local food, ‘farm to table’ whenever possible. Cooper Spur is located just off Highway 35 and is reached most easily from Hood River.
Mt. Hood Brewing – Located in the alpine village of Government Camp, Mt. Hood Brewing is the only mountainside brewery. Glacial water is used in the making of their beer. Like the beer, Mt. Hood Brewing’s food is always fresh and locally-sourced.
Mt. Hood Meadows – There’s spectacular ski terrain and spectacular dining options at Mt. Hood Meadows. Ranging from the full-service, Northwest-sourced Alpenstube Restaurant & Bar located in the lodge to Mazot, their on-mountain bistro at 6,000 feet, there are a total of 9 restaurants available to choose from.
Rendezvous Grill & Tap Room – Since 1995, ‘Vous Grill,’ has used natural and local ingredients to invent creative, seasonal cuisine. Rendezvous’ Chef Mathias, is also well versed in farm to kitchen cooking. Find them in Welches midway between Sandy and Government Camp.
Timberline Lodge – For more than 80 years Timberline Lodge has offered one of the of the most unique mountain experiences in America. On the south slope of Mt. Hood at 6,000 feet, choose from fine, Northwest-sourced dining at the lodge’s Cascade Dining Room, the family friendly food and drink at Ram’s Head Bar & Restaurant or the Wy’East Kitchen for skiers and day climbers on the run. There’s also a special Wine Vault tour and tasting package available.
