Did you know May is National Burger Month? We know that the usual burger toppings will never stop being good, but sometimes you want a burger with personality, right? We’ve searched the Northwest for amazing burgers to share with you! Here are a few of our favorites.
Garbage Collector Burger – Beachcomber Pub, Florence
The Garbage Collector from Florence’s Beachcomber Pub. It’s named for their good friend, Dave, who owns the local garbage company. It’s got double meat, double cheese, double bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion and Beachcomber’s special sauce.
Johnny Ringo – Jasper’s, Medford
The Johnny Ringo has bacon, jalapenos, egg, grilled onions on a bed of chili-cheese Fritos & ranch covered in melted pepperjack.
98607 Burger – Mill City Brew Werks – Camas, WA
Their 98607 Burger has ham, pepper bacon, white cheddar cheese, fried and egg and mayo. Pair it with a Mill City Brew Werks beer to complete your experience!
Rock-N-Roger’s Original – Rock N Roger’s, Salem
Their Original Hamburger includes 1/4 pound of seasoned honey cured ham, 2 thick strips of Hickory Smoked bacon, a fried egg, with your choice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and dill pickle on a freshly baked bun. Elvis would have loved it, and so will you! Rock-N-Roger’s has been voted ‘Best Burger’ in Salem for 8 years in a row.
Willamette Burger – Bo & Vine, Salem & Corvallis
The Willamette has goat cheese crumbles, smoked bacon, housemade sweet chili sauce, caramelized onion, balsamic reduction and spring mix lettuce. Pair it with a cider or chardonnay.
You Can Has Cheeseburger – Brunch Box, Portland
The You Can Has Cheeseburger from Portland’s Brunch Box Restaurant. It’s a patty with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, ketchup, mustard & mayo nestled between two Texas toast grilled cheese sandwiches.
